The goal of the project was to develop packaging for a food company. I decided to create a San Diego based cookie company by the name of Cliffside Cookie Company. This company is inspired by the coastal cities of San Diego County, specifically along the beaches as cookie shops have a strong presence in these areas. 

The design system is also heavily influenced by San Diego. The box cover design references a specific location called Sunset Cliffs. Instead of strictly using a photo of the location, I chose to create a more illustrative and abstract design, using a very beachy color scheme. As for the name, I decided that it was only fitting to acknowledge the cliff-filled coastline of San Diego, hence the name Cliffside Cookie Co.
